Romanian Special Interest Group in HCI

RoCHI is intended to serve as an inter-disciplinary forum for the exchange of ideas and experience in the field of human-computer interaction (HCI) by bringing together people working on the design, evaluation, implementation, and study of interactive systems.

RoCHI started in 2000 as a provisional interest group and has been chartered as a local chapter of ACM SIGCHI in Romania on June 7, 2001.

Events

ROCHI 2025 Conferences. Each year the ROCHI Interest Group organizes the ICUSI International Conference. The next ICUSI 2026 – International Conference on User-System Interaction will be in Suceava, at “Stefan cel Mare” University (Romania), 15-16 October 2026.

INTERACT 2027 Conference, is the flagship conference of the IFIP TC13 committee. Next INTERACT 2027 Conference will be in Tallinn, Estonia, August 23-27, 2027.

Conference proceedings

The papers presented at the ROCHI Conferences have been published in the RoCHI Conference Proceedings, ISSN 2501-9422 (English language), submitted for listing to DBLP and other international databases.

Journals

Selected papers could be published as extended versions in International Journal of User-System Interaction, ISSN 2668-3245, indexed in international databases.
