Settled along the Someş river, Cluj-Napoca (Kolozsvár, Klausenburg) city is one of the most important academic, cultural and industrial centers in Romania. Considered to be the historic capital of Transylvania, the city is located in northwestern part of Romania and it is one of the most visited cities in the country.
The city spreads circle-wise from St. Michael’s Church – built in 14th century – named after Michael the Archangel, the patron saint of Cluj-Napoca.
